I have four brand new paintings in an exhibition simply called ‘ABSTRACTION’ at Thompson’s Gallery in Aldeburgh opening 2nd September and running until the 24th.
Thompson’s Gallery Aldeburgh are excited to hold our first ever exhibition solely focussed on abstract work which removes accurate depictions of visual reality and places emphasis on properties such as pattern, shape, line and gestural marks to achieve a desired effect.
We request the pleasure of your company at the Private View on
Saturday 2nd September 11- 4pm.
The exhibition continues until the 24th September.
Contact the gallery directly for sales and any further information:

I just received a lovely email from the owners of Pêtchi Restaurant & Bar in Jersey letting me know they have just acquired ‘Undertow’ for the restaurant.
This is a wonderful bit of serendipity as Pêtchi is a Jèrriais word meaning ‘to try to catch a fish’, and ‘Undertow’ was a direct response to my standing knee-deep for several hours on the edge of the Atlantic with the waves crashing and the draw of the currents around me, trying (and occasionally succeeding) to catch fish.
